Just when it appears the last present has been unwrapped, TransWorld Motocross Magazine has one more big gift for motorcycle riders.

On Dec. 26, the magazine will host a free day of fun at the first annual Ride-For-Free Festival from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Competition Park Motocross facility in San Jacinto.

TransWorld Motocross has rented out the park for the day to host several events for riders of all ages and abilities.

Kids 6-12 can learn to ride with a focus on safety, as the Motorcycle Safety Foundation will be on hand with instructors, 50 cc motorcycles and safety equipment. Classes for first-time riders will be conducted through the day.

For more experienced riders, TransWorld Motocross will open all five of the facility's tracks for a riding free-for-all. Entrance fees will be waived.

There will be freestyle motocross demonstrations by some of the world's top riders, including X-Games Gold medalist Tommy Clowers, Temecula's Ryan Hughes and Jeff Tilton. After the demo, the riders will sign autographs and give pointers to riders.

"This is a great opportunity for us to give back to the established motocross community, while introducing new riders to the sport in a fun, safe way," said Marc Fiore, advertizing and marketing manager of TransWorld Motocross.
