Tricia Raniewicz scored 20 points, including four three-pointers, to lead the Cal State San Bernardino women's basketball team to a 71-61 victory over host Cal State Stanislaus in the California Collegiate Athletic Association opener for both teams Friday.
Cal State San Bernardino (5-0) shot 56.9 percent from the floor and held Cal State Stanislaus (3-3) to 27 percent.
The Coyotes jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead, but Cal State Stanislaus made 20 free throws in the second half to make the game interesting.
Sharee Brown scored 12 points and Angela Garrett added 10 for the Coyotes.
